Community Halls

The new St.Nicholas Church Parish Centre situated in the grounds of the rectory and adjoining the church is available for hire. It is already being used by a number of local groups during the day, as well as for birthday and christening parties. It has a large main hall with adjoining well-equipped kitchen and toilet facilities; as well as an upper room which is ideal for small group meetings, committee meetings etc. The main hall can accommodate about 50 people comfortably. There are plenty of chairs available for seeting, and tables as required. If you are interested in using this facility please contact 01932 22162.

The car park and landscaping of the area round the Centre have now been finished. Rates for using the Centre are now £35.00 for community groups and £50.00 for private parties. There is a special rate of £40 for receptions following services in the church, but the Centre is not suitable for wedding receptions.

Charlton Village Hall

Licensed for public music, singing & dancing. Stage provision. Large kitchen leads into the hall. Disabled toilet. Accomodates 50 persons.

Shepperton Village Hall

Licensed for public music, singing & dancing. Stage provision, dressing room, back stage toilets. Small kitchen area leading into the hall. Disabled toilet, large car park. Accommodates 100 reception/parties. 150 seated audience, 150 dancing.

Greeno Centre

Main Hall suitable for up to 90 persons; small room for 24 persons. Access for disabled, kitchen/tea bar and on site parking.

Glebeland Gardens

Committee room accommodating 24. Large hall accommodating 90. Small kitchen available. Lounge for small groups. Disabled toilets. Ample car parking.

 

 

Rail

Trains to London run approximately every 30 minutes and a little more frequently during the rush hour. The journey takes about 48 minutes. They leave at 7 minutes and 37 minutes past the hour.

On sundays, there is one train per hour leaving at 7minutes past the hour.
