Shepperton Fair

Since 1973, Shepperton Village Fair has been a major annual family event, attracting thousands of people. Before that, Shepperton Carnival dates back to the 1920's.

Held close to the River Thames on Manor Park, the current Fair incorporates spectacular arena displays, fairground rides, stalls, competitions, craft tent & the famous Great Nauticalia Raft Race. The Fair is organised as a non-profit-making event by a volunteer Committee comprising around a dozen Shepperton residents. The primary aim is to produce a fun event for the enjoyment of the whole community. In the process, the Fair promotes local charities, organisations and businesses.

For some charities, the Fair is their primary source of income for the year. The Fair is held on the second Saturday in June. The next Fair is on Saturday 13 June, 2009. Visit the website for more details.
